Why is my store showing as closed?

Why does my store show as closed on the customer menu?

If your store is appearing as Closed on the customer-facing menu, this usually means the Opening Hours settings in your Store section are either incomplete or incorrectly configured. This setting controls when your store is publicly visible and available to accept orders.

🔍 Understanding the issue

The system relies on the schedule you set under Opening Hours to determine when your store is open. If any day is missing a complete time range (i.e., both an opening and closing time), or if the fields are misconfigured, your store will automatically be marked as Closed—even if you're physically operating.

This feature is designed to help ensure customers only see your store as open during your actual business hours, and to avoid accepting orders outside of your operating time.

🛠️ How to resolve it

To check and update your store’s schedule:

  1. Log in to your Menu Tiger dashboard
  2. Go to the Store section from the main menu
  3. Click on the Opening Hours tab
  4. Carefully review your current schedule:
    • Make sure each day your store operates has both an Opening Time and a Closing Time
    • Ensure the times accurately reflect your business hours
    • Save the changes once done

âś… Example:

If your store operates from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends, enter 11:00 as the opening time and 22:00 as the closing time for Saturday and Sunday.

🔄 What happens next

After updating and saving your schedule:

  • The store will automatically show as Open during the configured times
  • Customers visiting your menu during those hours will be able to place orders as usual
  • You can refresh the customer view to confirm the update

Note: When your store is marked as closed, customers will not be able to place orders. This applies to both Dine-in and Takeaway services.
