How to Copy (Sync) Your Menu from Loyverse to Menu Tiger and Keep It Updated?

This guide explains the simple steps to get your menu from your Loyverse point-of-sale (POS) system into Menu Tiger. This process is called "menu sync" and it helps keep your online menu up-to-date automatically.

Part 1: Connecting Loyverse and Menu Tiger

Step 1: Go to Integrations

• Log in to Menu Tiger.
• Go to Integrations in the menu.
• Click on Point of Sale.

Step 2: Connect Loyverse

• Find Loyverse in the list.
• Click the Connect button and follow the steps to link your store.

Step 3: Check the Connection

• Menu Tiger will show a message confirming that Loyverse is connected.
• You will now have access to your Loyverse Back Office settings through Menu Tiger.

Part 2: Setting Up the Menu Sync

Step 4: Find the Sync Menu Tab

• In Menu Tiger, go to the Sync Menu tab. This is where you will manage and track your menu copies.

Step 5: Create a New Sync Configuration

• Click the Configure Menu Sync button to start setting up your menu sync.

Step 6: Choose Direction and Store

• Sync Direction: Select Loyverse → Menu Tiger. (This means you are moving the menu from Loyverse to Menu Tiger).
• Store Selection: Choose the Loyverse store that has the menu you want to copy.

Step 7: Choose How to Sync (Sync Mode) and Auto-Sync

• Sync Mode: Choose Differential sync. This is recommended for daily use because it only copies the new changes you make to your Loyverse menu, making it very fast.
  • Note: Only use "Full Replace" the very first time you set up your menu.
• Auto-Sync: Turn this ON to have your menu update in Menu Tiger automatically whenever you change it in Loyverse.
  • Note: Auto-Sync is OFF by default. You must turn it on.

Step 8: Handle Multiple Menus (If You Have Them)

• If you have more than one menu, you can set up a different sync rule (and different Auto-Sync settings) for each one.

Part 3: Starting the Sync

Step 9: Confirm and Start

• Review all your settings (Direction, Store, Sync Mode, Auto-Sync).
• Click Start Sync to begin copying your menu data into Menu Tiger.

Step 10: Track Your Sync

• You can see the results and status of the sync operation in the Sync History & Status section.

Tips for Best Results

• First Sync: Always finish the first sync manually (Step 9) before you turn on Auto-Sync.
• Daily Use: Use Differential Sync for your daily operations to keep things fast and simple.
• Review History: Check the Sync History after you make major updates to your menu in Loyverse to make sure everything copied correctly.
