How do I create and manage my menus?
The 'Menus' section is where you add, build and organize your digital menu. You can manage menus, categories, items, modifiers, and archived content.
Managing Menus:
To get started, login to your Menu Tiger, and go to Menus from the left-side navigation panel.
🆕 Creating a Menu:
- Click
+ Add New
. - Choose one of three methods:
- Import Menu: Download a template (.xlsx), fill it with your categories and food items, and upload it for a quick setup.
- Start from Scratch: Manually create a menu, then add categories and items within the app.
✏️ Editing a Menu:
Click the three dots on a menu card and select 'Edit' to change its name and description.
💬 Translating a Menu:
In the edit screen, go to the 'Localize' tab to add translations for the menu name and description in different languages.
🗑️ Deleting a Menu: Click the three dots and select 'Delete'. A menu must be unlinked from a store before it can be deleted. Deleted menus are moved to the 'Archive'.
👥 Duplicating a Menu: Click the three dots and select 'Duplicate' to create an exact copy of a menu, including all its categories and items.

Linking a Menu to a Store:
Each store can only have one active menu.
To link a menu, go to Stores > [Select Store] > Settings
and choose the menu from the 'Store Menu' dropdown. A 'Connected' tag will appear on the menu card if the linking is successful.
