What are Hot Actions and how do I manage them?
'Hot Actions' are customer-initiated requests available only when scanning a table QR code. This feature is ideal for full-service restaurants.
Customizing Hot Actions:
- Go to Hot Actions from the left-side menu.
- You will find default actions like "Call someone" and "Call to clean table."
- Creating a New Hot Action:
- Click
+ Add New
. - Define the Header (the request name), Message (description), and assign it to specific stores.
- Choose an icon.
- Click Save and toggle it on to make it active.
Managing Requests:
- Click on the ‘Hot Actions’ from the left panel. Click on the ‘Hot Action Requests’ tab.
- Click the status dropdown in the row you want to update, and choose the status. You can filter them by store or status and update the status from 'Active' to 'Approved' once addressed. The table will reload with the status updated already.
