How do customers place a request like calling a waiter? (Hot Actions)
This feature, called Hot Actions, is available exclusively for customers who order by scanning a table QR code. It allows them to request service without leaving their seat.
How to Place a Request:
- The customer scans the QR code at their table.
- On the menu screen, they will see a 'Hot actions' icon at the bottom.
- They click the icon to see a list of available requests (e.g., "Call Someone," "Call to Clean Table," "Call for Bill").
- They select a request and press 'REQUEST'.
- A notification is sent to your Admin Panel for your staff to see and address.
You can create custom requests in the Admin Panel under the Hot Actions section.
Troubleshooting
- Hot actions not showing on the customer app? Check that the customer is scanning a table QR code –– and not the restaurant QR code.
